Stitch is on the beach with a bucket in his paw, adding the last tower to a sandcastle, with the sea and a few clouds behind him and shells scattered around. Disney set Lilo & Stitch on Kauai, and the beach is where Stitch belongs; in this collection he is otherwise indoors with a boba tea or dressed up for Halloween. Wet sand holds a castle together because the water between the grains pulls them towards each other, which is why the castle here stands up. Keep the sand a pale warm grey rather than yellow and let the sea take the blue.
How to color Stitch at the beach
- Color the sea in horizontal strokes, deeper blue at the top and paler near the shore.
- Give the sand and the castle a pale warm grey, pressing harder on the shaded side of each tower.
- Color Stitch bright blue so he stands out against the sand, and leave the shells white.
