Halloween owl with a pointed hat coloring page

A round owl sits under a pointed wizard hat covered in stars and crescent moons, its big eyes taking up half its face and its feathers drawn in rows of scallops. The hat has the pattern, the feathers have the repetition, and the two together are the whole drawing. Owls became a Halloween animal because they hunt at night and were long thought to keep witches company. The black cat under the moon is the other animal page in this batch.

How to color Halloween owl with a pointed hat

1. Deep purple or blue for the hat, with the stars and moons in gold.
2. Two browns on the feathers, alternating row by row so the scallops show.
3. Yellow or orange for the eyes and the beak.
